The 5 W's Of The Bee

 Only students from schools registered and paid with the Scripps National Spelling Bee may participate in the State Spelling Bee. You may register your school at https://spellingbee.com/enrollment

• The Enrollment Period for the 2024 RI State Spelling Bee will close on Jan. 31, 2024. Register today!

• Teachers and administrators may visit spellingbee.com to enroll their schools in the Bee for the 2024 program year beginning late summer. There is also a lot of information there. 

• The R.I. State Spelling Bee customarily includes students only from Grades 4 through 8, inclusive. Younger students may participate. 

• Winners of previous R.I. State Spelling Bees may continue to participate for as long as they are grade-eligible.
